Testimonials

We firmly believe that a child's success in life is heightened by parental involvement at home and at school. Parents are always welcome to visit the school anytime, and to partake in school field trips, classroom parties, and special events.

Open two-way communication between parents and the school is essential. Parent-Teacher conferences are held throughout the school year to discuss your child's progress. Monthly parent newsletters are distributed to inform parents of what children are learning at school and special school events, along with offering learning extension ideas and parenting tips.

what parents have to say about Jeffersonville Country Day School!

We transferred our son to Jeffersonville Country Day School (JCDS) from another daycare. The owner called us on our son's first day to just give us an update on how he is doing. In the 8 months that our son has been enrolled at JCDS the teachers and the owner Larry has become apart of our family. Our son is learning a new thing every day and has made a bunch of friends. His teachers update me on his progress throughout the year and are always there if I need to talk to them. For any family looking for a daycare in this region I would highly suggest JCDS.

I have had three children go through this school. What a wonderful place. Great teachers and staff. I would highly recommend.

I have shopped around and I think all daycares should take a look at the kind of care and personalities that this school has operating this school. Instead of my two kids crying about going to school (like they had at the previous school they were enrolled.) They are waking me up on the weekend to get ready for school! I am very pleased and feel very fortunate to have my children attending this school. Word of advice...when you have to wonder about the kind of day your child had you really should wonder. It is really something great to have the confidence in the care your child is getting when your away.

I highly recommend Jeffersonville Country Day School, I have two boys who attend and my two year old is speaking so well and the staff is great. They get to know your children and the parents instead of just doing their job and leaving at the end of the day. It's very personal and welcoming. Great programs and great facility. Five stars all the way!

We couldn't be happier! The school is very clean and the teachers are great. Our child is excited to go to school which is comforting for us. We plan to send our younger child soon.

We enrolled our oldest son there 3 years ago and he has enjoyed it from day one. Our second son also attends and has been there for 1 year now, and he too enjoys the school. We have always felt that our children are in a nurturing, caring, and loving environment. I always feel secure knowing that the staff is there to guide and protect my children in my absence. I highly recommend JCDS to any parent/caregiver who wants to give their child the best early childhood education in the Jeffersonville area. We will be sad when our boys have grown and have to leave. Thanks.

My wife and I have had our 4 yr old at JCDS since he was 5 mo old. When he was 2 and had some difficulty with sensory input, he would act out. JCDS staff worked hard with us and the Intermidate Unit to get our son the early intervention help he needed. By the time he went into the 3 yr old room, his behavior was much better. His progress is continuing as he is now in the 4 yr old room. The class sizes seem adequate and the building is secure. JCDS communicates regularly with us by way of progress reports. They also have activities throughout the year run by professionals in science and physical education. We're so happy with our choice for our 4 yr old son the we didn't even consider any other day care for our 11 mo old baby boy. They both love it and so do we!We strongly recommend JCDS to you if you are considering day care and/or preschool for your child (full time or part time).

I enrolled my daughter at Jeffersonville Country Day School as an infant three years ago. The staff at the school were always caring and supportive, which is especially comforting to a first time Mom like myself at the time. I always felt at ease that my daughter was well taken care of, and given the love and attention she needed. My daughter is now thriving in the Three Year Old class. When I pick her up from school and she is happy, and tells me all that she did and learned that day, I know I made the right decision choosing Jeffersonville Country Day School.

JCDS knows what their job is, to provide a nurturing environment for children to grow while their parents are working. It stays open in all kinds of weather (it has never closed on a snowy day when we seriously considered going to work). There is a wonderful core of dedicated caregivers that provide structure, guidance, and TLC. Our daughter is now going into second grade in the Methacton School District, and the JCDS kindergarten program more than prepared her for her first grade experience. We have never been anything but satisfied and pleased with the treatment and education our daughter received at JCDS.

I really like JCDS. My daughter has been there for three years now, and she is very happy. Because of its small size, it allows more interaction to take place between the different teachers and your child, creating a more familiar and friendly atmosphere. I have also noticed it to be a well-run institution, where professionalism is exercised on a daily basis.
  • Dr. and Mrs Michael Roman

My husband and I are very pleased with JCDS. The structure is family-like and the women that work at JCDS truly care about the children. When our son is at school, we never have to worry about his well being.

My daughter has been attending JCDS since she was 3 months old; she is now 2 1/2 years old. Choosing JCDS was easy. After visiting other day cares, JCDS sold me with their very caring staff (mothers), soothing and pleasant atmosphere, and Mr. Brown's professionalism. Every school day, we are greeted by Mr. Brown and I know my daughter is being cared for, loved, and at the same time learning so much. I also really enjoy the theme months in the toddler program. At home, we can plan activities to go along with what she is learning at school.
